1) Getting Started - The Basics.

1.1) Logging Into Adlandpro

When you first register to become a member of Adlandpro, the first thing you
should do is log in to your members' area. You can do that by going to this link
and entering your

with some other information on the page, and several new blue tabs running along
the middle of the page. These are:

[ Home ] [ Ads ] [ Ad Services ] [ Tools ] [ Affiliate ] [ TE ] [ Email ] [ Info Products]

Immediately after login, you are at [ Home ]. Briefly, the tabs indicate (in
order from left to right)

* Home - Account Summary at a glance.

You can configure most of your services here.

Learning Material

1.2 - Writing Your First Ad

Creating your first ad if you've never created one before can seem easy at first
but it takes some planning and forethought before you even begin to type. So,
before I even show you how to create a new ad on Adlandpro, I recommend
you read these guidelines from the book of our CEO "E-Business Success Blueprint"
written by Adlandpro.com CEO and Founder Bogdan Fiedur:

* A person needs to see a specific ad up to 7 times to feel familiar with it and
make a buying decision. Therefore, if your ad has only been seen once, you
shouldn't expect anyone to buy from you. They'll need to see it six more times to
feel comfortable enough to take advantage of your offer.

* We are more likely to buy an item if the product or service has been endorsed
by some known personality.

* People enjoy thinking about themselves most of the time. They think about
problems they have and things they want. Therefore, successful ads list
benefits.
They tell them what the product will do for them and what they will lose if they
don't have it.

* Everyone wants to get things cheaper than they are being sold for. Try
offering discounts for your first buying customers, or free delivery or free samples.

* We quite often make our decision based on direct embedded commands in the
surrounding environment. When you see a green light you proceed forward.
When you see a red light you stop. When someone looks at you and smiles you
will smile back. To take advantage of this, use commands in your ad. Say
something like Click Here or Select One Item from the list. People will
subconsciously follow your commands.

* People like to see other people who are enthusiastic and happy. Express
happiness in your ad and enthusiasm. Demonstrate how the product will bring
them happiness.

* The net feels very anonymous. It is harder to gain somebody's trust on the net
than in real life. Always display a phone number in the ad that customers can
call with any questions if they want.

* Don't use misleading headlines. You might get a visitor to your site but you
will make him/her angry and you will guarantee that they won't use your site in the
future. E.g. Your account has been deleted will not generate a sale.

* Don't exaggerate in your ads. This will usually have an adverse effect on
customers.

* Don't list features of your product or service. Instead list benefits.

* Don't use your name in the heading unless you are a known brand name in the
niche area.

* Don't use italics in your ad heading. They are harder to read and will likely
be skipped.

Now that you know what to do and what not to do, let's start creating your first
ad using the guidelines you saw above. Go to this link:

http://www.adlandpro.com/customerwizard.aspx?order=d

Click "Next" to continue. The following form should be relatively straight
forward.
You're prompted for a Country, the Category in which you place your ad, the Ad
Heading/Headline, the Body of the Ad, phone number, email address, the URL or
web address you wish the visitor to be directed to when they click the ad headline,
and 6 Keywords which are like Search Phrases for the ad. For a more detailed
description of what 6 Keywords are, go to this link:

http://www.adlandpro.com/faq.aspx#faq23

Finally, you can choose to be notified via email when someone clicks your ad.
Select or deselect this option by placing a checkmark or removing it from the
checkbox.

Once you've filled out all this information, you have now created your first ad
in the Classified Ad Section. To view your ad, go to your "Ad Services" section
here:

http://www.adlandpro.com/a/main_control.asp?main=3

You should see your new ad with its headline and some buttons beside the ad.
Click the "View" button to view the ad, the "Edit" button to change the ad, and the
"Del" button if you want to delete the ad (not recommended).

Important: As a free member, you are entitled 3 ads per day to a maximum of 20
ads in the system under your account.

Note: Adlandpro displays newer ads ahead of the older ads; your ad will
continuously slide down and eventually skip to the next page and then the second page
until nobody will see it. Therefore, it is paramount that you renew your ads and
resubmit them. You can do this by going to this link and clicking the "Edit" button
to make some small change.

Our Renewable Ad Service will keep your ad at the top of the category for the
duration of the service.
Visit http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/renewable.aspx?TB=ad
for more information.

NEW USER BONUS: Get 500 Free Traffic Exchange credits for becoming an
Adlandpro.com member.

Activate your Traffic Exchange and your free credits by going to this link and
accepting the Terms of Service.

http://www.adlandpro.com/a/main_control.asp?main=7

Then click the "Create New Ad" to create a new ad to insert into the
traffic exchange. Once the ad is completed, you will be prompted to insert it
into the Traffic Exchange area. Select "YES" to do so.

Next Issue

Tomorrow, I'm going to go over with you some of the Features, Advantages, and
Benefits of our Premium Services. These services can increase the return on
your well- written ad by as much as 400% and in some cases more.

Adlandpro Tutorial (Chapter 2)

2) Popular Services - Getting the Most Out of Your Advertising
Free Ads are excellent ways to get started with your advertising and they
provide a cost- effective way to test your ads. But what do you do if you want
to take your advertising to the next level? What do you do if you want to give
your ads additional exposure or different exposure? The answer is our Premium
Services.
Our Premium Services consist of several different services which promote your
ad(s) in different ways. This tutorial will go over each one briefly and then explain
the benefits and how to use each one.
2.1) The Renewable Ad
Prevents your ad from being pushed to the bottom of the category
by automatically refreshing the ad and bringing it back near the top of the
category that you placed the ad into which increases your visibility and chances
for a sale.
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/renewable.aspx?TB=ad
2.2) Search Engine Submission: Search Engine Submission automates the process
of submitting your website to search engines each month. Search engine submission
increases your visibility by submitting your site to the search engines allowing
them to find you faster. NOTE: this service does not guarantee your position on the
search engine.
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/search_eng.aspx?TB=ad
Banner Impressions
2.3) Banner Impressions are a terrific way to give your ad exposure and
get your ad seen. Ads that are submitted to the Banner Impression program are
rotated in random with thousands of other ads on our High Traffic Adlandpro Pages,
our community web pages, our Affiliate Custom Pages, and our Free Web Pages.
You can submit as many ads as you like on the Banner Impressions Program so
long as you have Banner Impression Credits. Each credit is worth one display
of your ad. The Banner Impressions have statistics which show hits (clicks) to your
ad and views (number of times your ad was displayed). This automatic display gives
you even more exposure by automatically displaying your ads to visitors as opposed
to having them look for your service on their own.
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/impressions.aspx?TB=ad
Tip: Check out the Adlandpro Affiliate Program for how to earn FREE Credits for
the Banner Impression and the Traffic Exchange Programs!
2.4) Traffic Exchange
The Traffic Exchange uses a credit system similar to the Adlandpro
Banner Impression System. For each Banner Impression Credit you have, your ad
will be displayed on the Traffic Exchange once. When people surf the traffic
exchange they are presented with a set of 6 ads. When they view your ad
(your ad is displayed to them on the exchange), 1 credit is deducted from your
pool of available credits. The Banner impression program also has statistics identical
to the Impression Program.

3) Other Services and Programs
Did you know that Adlandpro offers more than just advertising? You can get
services which will help you:
* Track Ad Campaigns so you can save money or spend it more wisely
* Build your mailing list to increase your sales and your repeat business
* Send an E-zine ad to a responsive 28,000 subscriber base
* Let you control how much you spend on Advertising saving you money
3.1) The Adlandpro URL Tracker Service
The URL Tracker Service lets you replace your
normal links with specific URL Tracker Links that capture information such as
the number of clicks to a specific link and the type of web browser the visitor
was using when he/she visited. This will give you an edge in figuring out which
of your campaigns are working and which are not. Maybe that ad in one e-zine
was more productive than the other? Maybe you should stop advertising there
and spend more money in a different e-zine? With the URL Tracker, you'll
have the answers to those questions and more.
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/urltrack.aspx?TB=ad
3.2) Opt-In List Builder
It's said time and time again in the internet marketing industry that
a good mailing list is paramount to success. To build it, you need something to
help you capture emails. Traditionally, this required programmers to set up
a form where people could enter their email addresses and then a lot of
programming to get this to work with your email. Not anymore. With a few
mouse clicks and a little cut and paste, you could be offering your visitors
a choice between one of our Internet Marketing and Internet Business
Newsletters which both feature your ads exclusively and capturing their email
addresses at the same time. You'll be building a huge list of subscribers in NO
time!
The bigger the list, the more sales you get!
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/opt_in.aspx?TB=ad
3.3) Pay Per Click Advertising
Pay Per Click Advertising lets you bid on certain keywords
that relate to your ad. The higher you bid, the more likely you are to turn up
when that keyword is searched for. If you're the top bidder, you get the top spot!
And what's even better is that you don't pay what you bid unless the person
actually clicks your ad. If you get good related keywords, you can achieve some
pretty good success with this program and the minimum to get started is only $10.00.
It's a very affordable way to get results and even test keyword effectiveness before
you spend hundreds on keyword targeted advertising.
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/ppc.aspx?TB=ad
3.4) Adland Digest Ads
Having a good ad in a good reputable E-zine gets your ad in front of
another audience entirely. These people may not have the time to get online and
read everything there is so they subscribe to newsletters to save time and effort.
You can get your ad in front of 26,000 of these people with only a few mouse
clicks and for as little as $30.00 per issue. That's just over a dollar for every
1000 people that see your ad! You could be getting sales right now for as little
as $30.00!
http://www.adlandpro.com/advertisers/sponsored_ads.aspx?TB=ad
These services will help you propel your Ad Campaign into the next level. Make
sure you check out the links below each service for more information on these
services.
Well, that's it for now. I think I've given you more than enough information to
digest.
Tomorrow's issue will contain information on our Affiliate Program. If you
chose to join the Affiliate Program when you signed up for Adlandpro, you will
want to make sure you check out this next issue. I'll go over the high points of
becoming an Adlandpro Affiliate. If you would like to join the program right away,
please feel free.

Next Tutorial, we're going to dive into the Adlandpro Community. The Adlandpro
Community is a network of marketers much like yourself who are trying to promote
themselves on the internet. They participate in discussions and engage in many
different online activities.
It's worth it to check it out! I'll give you your gate pass to the community
tomorrow.
But if you want to check it out today, you can do it by going to this link or by
clicking on the Networking Tab when you're logged into Adlandpro.com:
